A petition is a “solemn supplication or request to a superior authority,” so the obvious question arises: to whom is this CAIR “petition” addressed? Nobody - it is just an abstract statement. It might carry some weight were it addressed to Hamas, Al-Qaeda, or the extremists in Iraq. Addressed to no one, it amounts to just another CAIR bleating about being “against terrorism.” - याचिका सदैव किसी उच्चतर अधिकारी के प्रति निवेदन या गंभीर आवेदन होता है . इसलिए स्वाभाविक प्रश्न उठता है कि सीएआईआर की याचिका किसे संबोधित है किसी को नहीं .यह एक काल्पनिक वक्तव्य है . इसकी कुछ गंभीरता होती यदि यह हमास , अल-कायदा या इराक के कट्टरपंथियों को संबोधित होती , किसी को संबोधित न होने से यह आंतकवाद के विरुद्ध सीएआईआर का एक छद्म प्रलाप है .
